Facials are one of the most misunderstood beauty rituals, out there. Yet, they can help clear clogged pores, quench parched skin and remove dead cells. During your facial, you’ll also experience a massage which aids in blood circulation and lymphatic drainage (helps fight corona). The facial massage also helps to relax facial muscles which can slow the onset of wrinkles on the face.
Tribe today, I am introducing you to our Melanin Flo Facial. It’s part of our Melanin Glo product line. This facial reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and aging. It also includes caffeine which helps reduce inflammation and dark circles. You will find that this process adds luster radiance, and a particular glow to your melanin skin. The steps are simple and listed below:
1. CLEANSE
You’ll definitely want to start with dry hands. If you have been following me for a while, you know why. If you’re new to following me, I manufacture my own products so my container and your container may look different. I literally dry cleanse because if you wet your hands or you wet your face first what you’re going to do is dilute your product. So put the cleanser in your (dry) hands and rub them together and then put each hand on your face and rub the cleanser on in a circular motion. You’ll want to go in upward strokes; think of your skin cells like shingles. You want to get up under there and get that deep cleanse. Remember your chin and your forehead.
Now I am a big supporter of combining both chemical and mechanical exfoliation so in my cleanser I have Kojic Acid, which acts as a chemical exfoliant.
Now if you like to shower while cleansing your face, this is the step where you would get in the shower and let your cleanser sit for a little, so the steam can rise up and do what it needs to do as far as opening your pours, letting the cleanser absorb a bit, and letting the chemical exfoliants do their thing.
After your shower, go in with your pore cricket, you may need to wet it just a little, if the steam from the shower didn’t hit it as hard, because you’ll want to emulsify it.
The cricket adds the mechanical component.
Move the cricket in an upward circular motion, making sure you get those muscles and make sure you apply a little pressure. Pick one cheek and then go over your forehead and then towards your other cheek maintaining a circular motion. Be sure to give it a good scrub, get your chin and under your nose. Remember to do your lips, nobody wants to kiss you with chapped lips.
Remove the Cleanser
Then, wet a clean towel with hot water to remove the cleanser. Start with your lips and work your way around the face. Remember to get your nose and chin as you clean off your face.
2. MELANIN FLO SYRUM
I mentioned above that coffee is an ingredient in this product. As you may know, coffee is a key component for keeping your skin-tight and boosting your cell renewal cycle. I’m not talking about drinking it. Here’s the reason, when you ingest something, it has to go through the whole breakdown of the enzymes in your mouth and the enzymes in your gut, before it gets distributed through your body.
What I am introducing to you is our new product line: Melanin Glo… I love it, I love it, I love it. The Melanin Flo Serum is Sexy.
You literally just put 2-3 drops on your hands, rub them gently together and apply each hand onto each cheek, then rub it around your face. You just massage it in in the morning. I add 2 more drops because it is very high in caffeine and get all of your face and neck. What you don’t want to happen is you’re just wide awake for no reason.
3. MOISTURIZE
The next step is to add your moisturizer. I really love the moisturizer in our Melanin Glo Line. It includes Almond Oil, Lactic Acid, and Kojic Acid. You rub it between your hands and then apply it to your face.
With this line and all of our skincare products, you will notice they are not only organic, but they smell edible.
That’s it…
So if you were taking notes, the 3 steps were:
1. Cleanse
2. Melanin Flo Serum which resets pH levels, exfoliates, boosts the cellular renewal cycle, and fights anti-aging as far as fine lines, and wrinkles.
3. Moisturize which hydrates.
